About Mimmi
You know that look on a child when they are so cute and tired, but they refuse to fall asleep?
When they giggle and play because the world is so interesting, despite their eyes being so so heavy? When they smile but can barely keep themselves awake?
Mimmi was created because Miroslava wanted to capture this feeling in a little Dumpling, and here she is!

MIROSLAVA’S SCULPTING PROCESS:
To the right you can see Mimmi in the process of her being made. We put this up to show those who are curious! Sometimes it can be fun to see the process.
This is how Mimmi looked when Miroslava had just finished sculpting her main features. She was sculpted in paper clay which you see in one of the images.
On top of her clay sculptures Miroslava always sprays on layers of gray acrylic paint. This gray paint helps highlight any bumps/scratches that need to be sanded out and fixed. It also protects the dolls and seals them so they can later safely be made into molds.
Finally the grey, smooth and complete sculpt is used to make a mold. This mold will be used to make the first samples
